Anantnag: Woman found hanging at her residence, husband detained as prime suspect

Anantnag:- Pall of gloom had descended after  28-year-old woman was found hanging at her residence in Aamad Ashmuqam area of south Kashmir Anantnag District on sunday evening. On Monday police sources confirmed to INS that her husband who was detained as prime suspect has confessed to the crime.

Sources said that police suspected that the Zulaika was killed and died died between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM.

The body of the woman was discovered by her relative when he opened the door of the bedroom, and found Zulaika hanging, police said.

Police sources told to INS that the accused her husband namely Sadam Shah s/o Gh Rasool Shah has confessed of comitting the crime.

Police have regiterd a case under 302 RPC FIR no 47 and started further investigation.
