Tral : A Junior Engineer working in Power development Department, currently posted in power grid station Tral, allegedly that he was threatened by PRO to public works minister Nayeem Akhter.
The Junior Engineer Harminder Singh, in his complaint to police said that he is being forced by the PRO Nayeem Akhter namely Harbaksh Singh, to illegally install the electric line to his personal premises, which is already objected by the Auqaf committee members and locals of the area.
In the application the JE Harminder Singh has also mentioned that PRO is threatening him to be responsible for the consequences as he could be transferred or even terminated from the services.
The Junior Engineer hails from Gamraz hamlet of Tral, and was earlier in the news for donating his one month’s salary to the family of 8 year old girl who was raped and murdered in Kathua.
The JE in complaint has also alleged the PRO Harbaksh of misusing the political power and demanded action against him.
PRO Harbaksh however denied the allegations and said that the engineer has tried to blackmail him through the SMS, which he already forwarded to police.
He added that a case has been registered already against said the JE in Maisuma police station.
