Ganderbal: Srinagar-Leh strategic highway has been shut for vehicular traffic following landslides over the stretch.

According to officials Sonamarg-Gumri road stretch of Sgr-Leh highway was again closed following landslides at almost three places.

Reports said that a large number of vehicles stranded on either sides of the highway.

An official said the road was open on Sunday after four days of closure due to major landslide occurred on Thursday evening at Zojila pass.

He said that Border road organization men  are at work to clear the road.
