“The Bar Association also condemns the vandalizing of the grave of slain militant Sameer Ahmad Bhat alias Tiger of Drubgam, Pulwama, during the intervening night of Tuesday and of removing of the headstone from his grave. According to the locals it is not the first time when the army personnel have vandalized the grave of Sameer Ahmad Bhat but earlier also, they came into the village, after two days of killing of Sameer Ahmad and destroyed and damaged the graves of other militants and removed the headstones from their graves in a sheer act of savagery,” Bar Association said.
The Bar Association also condemns the attempt of setting the house of Adil Ahmad of Gandibagh Kakapora Pulwama on fire, by the army personnel, who had reportedly come to Gandibagh during day time on Wednesday and had clicked the pictures and made a video of the house and thereafter during night came again and set the house ablaze, which attempt was however foiled by the locals, who doused the flames of residential house.

The Bar Association has also decided to support the strike call given by the Joint Resistance Leadership on Saturday, the 2nd of June, 2018, against these mass human rights violations and also against the reign of terror let loose by the Indian armed forces and their collaborators in Kashmir and has also decided to request its members to abstain from court work on Saturday, the 2nd of June, 2018 to make the strike call successful.
