Srinagar: The missing teenager, brother of the sumo driver who was killed in firing at kakapora Pulwama in south Kashmir, has returned home, police and family confirmed to INS on Monday.
A police officer said that the missing teenager, Mehraj-ud-Din Ahmad Ganie son of Mohammad Ramzan returned home at Narwa Kakpora and “further investigations are ongoing.”
A relative of the teenager said that Mehraj-ud-Din Ahmad Ganie was unable to speak as he is in a “state of shock.”
“He is unable to talk to anyone,” the relative said. Mehraj-ud-Din Ahmad Ganie had gone missing after his brother Bilal Ahmad Ganie was killed in Pulwama while the duo was returning home in the sumo vehicle. Police said that Bilal was killed in firing after militants attacked an army camp, leading to the killing of soldier as well. However, locals and the family claimed the Bilal was killed 15 to 20 minutes after the militant attack on the army camp.
