Kupwara: Government forces have foiled an infiltration bid by almost a dozen milittnats in  keran sector and gogal dara area of North Kashmir Kupwara.

According to sources more than 15 militants were trying to inflitrate in keran sector and gogal dara area of North Kashmir Kupwara district but acting swiftly Army scuttled the ‘motives’.

“While they were seen crossing the LOC Indian army opened fire on them and during the exchange of fire they returned back. Militants left some ammunition behind, and went back to the other side,” Army sources confirmed to INS.
