Market Checking Intensified in Ganderbal

Ganderbal: District officials Ganderbal Wednesday conducted market checking and imposed Rs 5000 fine on erring traders.

“A joint team of Revenue,Food Safety, CS & CA Deptt. and Police headed by Tehsildar Kangan Mushtaq Ahmad & Food Safety Officer Kangan Fayaz Ahmad today Conducted Market Checking at Main Market kangan & imposed a fine of Rs.5000/= on erring traders,” sources said.

According to officials they also destroyed Perishable Food items, rotten friuts & vegetables under Essential Commodities Act & Food Safety Act.

Moreover Food Business Operators were directed to display Rate lists, Licences & provide Quality Food Stuffs to the masses during the upcoming holy Month of Ramzan.
