Srinagar: Suspected militants decamped with three rifles of police from a post outside at hotel at Dalaget here on Thursday evening.
Official sources said that the militants decamped with rifles from the police post on Thursday evening when the policemen had gone to offer prayers. All the three police personnel have been arrested and further investigations taken up. The incident comes a day after suspected militants snatched rifle from a policeman posted at the entrance of Kashmir University at Hazratbal here. A police officer said that it would be premature to say that militants decamped with the rifles. “All I could say that rifles are missing and further investigation are underway,” the police officer said.
