9 am to 3 pm: Uniform school timing for schools in Jammu, Kashmir

Srinagar: Government Tuesday ordered uniform timing for schools in both the Jammu division and Kashmir division.

“All govt and private (recognized) schools in Kashmir division and winter zone of Jammu Division shall observe timing from 9 am to 3 pm with immediate effect,” reads the order.

The order issued on Tuesday directed heads of all the govt as well as private schools to ensure that the new timing is implemented in ‘letter and spirit’.
