Srinagar, Oct 24: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who is presently in New Delhi has held back-to-back meetings with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other cabinet ministers in the last 24 hours.
The chief minister as per the sources has handed over the resolution passed in the cabinet to the Prime Minister today, seeking the restoration of Statehood to J&K.
In the last 24 hours, the chief minister has met PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
After meeting the union ministers, Rajnath Singh in a post said that the NDA government is looking forward to working with him for J&K’s progress.
Rajnath wrote on X “Met with the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah in New Delhi. The NDA Govt under PM Narendra Modi is looking forward to working with him for J&K’s progress.”
