Online APR filling of Gazettted officers begins

Srinagar: The government on Monday started online Annual Performance Reports (APR) filing by gazetted officers beginning it with KAS officers.

“In order to bring the objectivity, expediency and transparency in writing and processing of APRs in respect of Gazetted officers on the pattern of All India Service officers and as per the fixed time lines, the State Cabinet vide decision No. 64/2018 has approved to introduce the Electronic online filing of APRs in respect of all the Gazetted officers in the Government of Jammu and Kashmir,” reads an order issued here. “To begin with, it has been decided that all of officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, including the Junior Scale KAS officers, shall file their APRs online for the year 2017-18 onwards on the online SPARROW platform. As such, all the officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service are enjoined upon to obtain a Digital Signiture Certificate (DSC) Type-2,

Signing and ensure the possession of Aadhaar Cards, if still not obtained, by or before 25.05.2018 required for e-signing.”
