Mirwaiz calls All party meet over current Kashmir situation a ‘farce’

Ahead of the all-party meet in Srinagar over prevalent Kashmir situation, Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Wednesday termed the all part meet by the government as “farce” and impressed it to deliver justice to civilian killings.

Taking to his Twitter handle Mirwaiz wrote “Govt All Party meet a farce !7  civilians killed no FIR  or investigation, police chief commended forces for killing 5 boys while not a single word about civilian killings ! Stop taking people for a ride ! Otherwise Arrest the Killers, Remove #AFSPA Give justice! (sic)”.

Earlier, five civilians were killed after forces opened fire into protesters in Shopian on May 6, who were demonstrating against the death of five militants, including to Hizb commander Saddam Padder, in Badigam village of the south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
