Train service resumes in Kashmir

Srinagar: Train services were  resumed Wednesday after remaining suspended for a day due to security reasons in the Kashmir valley in view of a shutdown call given by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) against the killing of a youth by government forces.

Similarly trains will run on Budgam-Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund to Banihal.

Train service on this track was suspended since Monday afternoon after the killing of two Hizb militants and a youth in Pulwama during a gunfight between militants and government forces.
