Gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Drabgam village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday, reports said.
The operation is launched by a joint team of army, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CRPF.
“There was a lull, breif, after initial exchange of fire but contact has been made aware and fire is being exchanged from both sides,” an official said.
