Pulwama: Nine youths has been arrested during nocturnal raids in Muran village of village Pulwama in South Kashmir by government forces.

Sources said around 2 am forces entered the village, “harassed and beat people especially youths’.

“Nine youths were picked up  Mudasir Ah, Rizwan Ah, Basharat Ah, Amir Hassan, Danish Ah, Showkat Ahmad, Kaisar Ah, Sahil Ah, & Amir Ah,” they said.

Clashes had erupted  in the area between government forces and youths after army entered the village on Monday and youths pelted stones. Aerial shots were fired.
