Another militant body found, Tral forest encounter death toll mounts to 6

Srinagar: Four militants, a soldier and a policeman were killed in gunfight in forests of Tral in Pulwama district on Tuesday.
The encounter ensued after a joint team of government forces laid a siege of the forests near Lam area. In the exchange of firing, two army soldiers and an SOG personal identified as Latif Gojri sustained serious injuries. Gojri along with a soldier of army 42 Rashtriya Rifles identified as Ajay Kumar later succumbed to injuries.
Sources said bodies of the militants have been recovered along with as many AK-rifles and other ammunition. The militants are believed to be foreigners but their identity is being established, the officer added.
“One more (militant) killed, taking the total to 4 ,” Director general of police wrote on twitter.
