Kathua case: Five injured in Pulwama clashes, 3 referred to Srinagar

Pulwama: Five persons were injured and three among them have been referred to Srinagar on Wednesday after clashes erupted between students and government forces. Students were demanding justice in the kathua rape and murder of an 8 year old minor.

“5 people has been injured and 3 people have been referred to Srinagar. All have pellet injuries,” Ab Rasheed Parra, medical superintendent, Hospital Pulwama told INS.

Students of degree colleage pulwama had taken out a march and rallied towards Muran chowk.

Upon reaching the chowk clashes between protesting students and police erupted.

Earlier 15 people, mostly students, were injured in the police action on the students demanding justice in the case.

Two girls among the injured, in Anantnag, had pellet gun injureis on neck, legs, nose, abdomen etc.
