Kathua case: Fast track court to be established, arrested policemen to be terminated

Srinagar: Government is going to establish a Fast track court in the Kathua rape and murder case of minor and the three policemen arrested in the case are going to be terminated from services, sources said.

According to sources CM J&K will be formally asking cheif Justice J&K HC  for the establishment of special fast-track court for Kathua Rape and Murder case.

“It will be the first in the state & is expected to complete the trial in 90 days,” sources told INS.

Soruces also said that the three policemen who have been arrested for being involved in conspiracy and rape and murder case of 8 year old minor in Kathua would be ‘terminated from service’.

“They are going to be terminated from services,” sources said.

“The call to terminate can be taken by Principal Secretary Home department,” DGP JK police SP Vaid told INS.
