Srinagar: Police on Saturday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 22 kilograms of cannabis material (Bhung) in powdered form from him, its spokesman said
“Police party of police post Frisal, Yaripora during naka checking arrested a drug peddler identified as Abdul Gani of Frisal and recovered 22 kilograms of cannabis from his possession,” the spokesman said.
A case (FIR No. 15/2018) under 8/20 NDPS Act was registered in Police Station Yaripora and investigation was taken up, the spokesman added.
