After JCCI Poonch Bar distances from Jmu Bandh, welcomes FIR against lawyers

Poonch: Poonch bar association on Tuesday welcomed the lodging of an FIR against lawyers who tried to obstruct filling of challan in Asifa rape-and-murder case yesterday and distanced itself from Jammu Bandh call by Bar Association Jammu.

“We welcome the FIR lodged against the lawyers who prevented police from filling challan and Crime Branch should continue to investigate the case,” General Secretary Poonch bar association Sajad Chouhan.

They also distanced from Jammu Bandh call for tomorrow.

Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries has already said no to Bandh saying it won’t join any ”politically motivated issues'”.
