R&B to complete roads, bridges projects before the deadline in South Kashmir areas, people hail efforts

Qazigund: Road connectivity will increase manifold as the administration is about to complete the roads and bridges projects in coming month. With almost 85 percent work completed administration is on toes to complete the works.

According to Exen Roads and Building division Qazigund Reyaz Ahmad Parray in Anantnag district the roads completion has been done to the tune of 85 percent.

‘In one month we will complete the rest work,” Parray said, Parray cited Anantnag-Duroo-verinag road and Nowpora innerlink roads and examples.

Parray has been hailed by the people as well for fast track of work and quality control as well.

Similarly in Kulgam district the works have been completed almost 90 percent, Parray claimed and said in a month they will be done with the work.

“Bridges are all done work and only one or two are going on and they too will be completed in a month,” he said.

He pointed out that the priority first work is almost done.

Parray said that they have completed the work in the stipulated time and some projects much before the deadline.

People have appreciated the works done by the Roads and Building department as well.

“The better roads will help population in better travel and save time as well,” locals in Qazigund said.
