Srinagar: Joint Resistance Leadership on Monday strongly condemned arrest of Dukhtaran-e-Millat activists and producing them handcuffed for purpose of getting their judicial remand as lawlessness, police raj and moral bankruptcy.
“The so-called leaders who are talking high about women welfare and safety are disrespecting their own laws,” said the JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik in a joint statement issued here. They strongly condemned producing Dukhtaran-e-Millat activists handcuffed before the court.
“Indian forces after killing our youth are also putting restrictions in offering condolences. These so-called leaders are neither stopped by their inner conscience nor do they respect their own laws. The history is testimony that such inhuman and atrocious leaders have vanished and our helpless nation will also see such leaders’ fate though their own eyes,” they said and urged international human rights organizations to take strong notice of “atrocities” against people of Jammu and Kashmir including women and raise voice it.
