Jammu: The Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) on Sunday made it clear that there has been no technical snag in the BOPEE website for making online payment or filling preferences for NEET Postgraduate-2018.
Responding to a news item published in a section of the press, a BOPEE spokesman said that there was absolutely no substance in the news item published in a local daily that some candidates could not fill the preferences or make online payment due to technical snag in BOPEE website on 31st March 2018.
“To put the records straight the last date for submission of preferences and making online payment was 28 March 2018 as notified by the BOPEE and the date was only extended upto 31st March 2018 to give opportunity to such candidates to fill the preferences /update/make payments who could not do so within the stipulated date,” he said adding that there has been no technical snag whatsoever in the BOPEE website during the entire process and the candidates who failed to participate in the process are entirely responsible themselves.
He said some candidates who failed to participate in the process within the stipulated timeframe are using these tactics which amounts to resorting to unfair means. “The Board has already notified MDS selection list on 5th April 2018 and is ready to notify the MD/MS/PG Diploma lists but for a litigation that has cropped up and an LPA pending before the High Court at Jammu,” he said.
