Fire breaks out in Maharaj Gunj

Srinagar: A massive fire broke out in a residential house in Urdu Bazaar area of Maharaj Gunj Srinagar on Saturday afternoon.

An official from the fire and emergency department said that fire broke out in a residential house in Urdu bazaar Maharaj Gunj, there are no immediate reports of any loss or damage.

However, the fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames, he said.

The official added that cause of the fire is yet ascertained.

More details are awaited.
