INS impact: HSS Behnipora Rajwar gets four more lecturers

Kupwara: Day after the INS reported the acute staff shortage at Higher secondary school Behnipora in Handwara area here, Directorate of School Education Kashmir has transferred four teachers to the school.

The school has more than three hundred students and with four more transfers the teaching strength has become eight.

INS had reported that the school is facing acute shortage of staff as not only is the institute understaffed but 13 posts are lying vacant.

Chief Education officier had told INS that within a week there will be sanctioning of staff to the HSS behnipora.

The four new teachers have been sanctioned against English, Education, Mathemetics and political science subjects.

Students of the school had two days earlier protested against the education department accusing them of ‘callous approach’ towards education scenario.
