Tral : Government forces on Monday night, cordoned off Syedabad-Pastuna village of south Kashmir’s Tral in Pulwama district. The village remains under siege as forces continue search operation.
More than twelve hours have passed.
Official sources told that the contingents of Special Operation Group (SOG) 42 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) cordoned off whole area at about 09 : 30 pm yesterday, after getting inputs about the possible presence of militants and started searches, which are going on since last 12 hours.
The area continues to be under forces’ siege and there was no exchange of gunfire when this report was being filed.
