“At around 2:30am people in uniform probably Army gate crashed our house and thrashed us,”Anil Koul, who lives in Tahab village, said on Tuesday.

According to Koul they repeatedly told men in uniform that they belong to minority community ‘but they paid no heed’.

“I told them that we belong to minority community and you are here to safeguard us but they still manhandled us. We had guests at home they too were not spared,” Koul alleged.

Koul also said that he called a nearby CRPF camp but they didn’t respond.

“CRPF had provided us with their number to call in case of emergency but despite repeated attempts they didn’t respond,” Koul claimed.

Koul urged government to intervene in the matter.
