Police arrests 2 Bathindi Jammu residents for attacking journalists

Jammu: Police on Tuesday said that two local residents from Bathindi Jammu were arrested for attacking a group of journalist in the state’s winter capital.
SSP Jammu Vivak Gupta said that a group of journalists was attacked by local youth in Bathindi area of Jammu on Tuesday afternoon.
He said an FIR under section 341, 323, 382, 34 RPC has been registered at Police Station Trikuta Nagar.
“Two accused both residents of Jammu have been arrested on the basis of initial investigation and further investigation of the case is going on,” he told INS. The arrested have been identified as Mohammad Ashraf and Shaer Mohammad, both residents of Bathindi.
