Shopian: Government forces launched Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Astan mohalla of Awneera village of district Shopian in South Kashmir on Monday
The anti militancy operation is being jointly conducted by Army and Special Operation Group SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The operation was launched after information about presence of militants in the area. House-to-House search was going on in the area.
