According to residents two persons have lost their lives last year, after HT wire leading towards the transformer, touched their truck.

“This transformer poses threat to people including school going children. We requested concerned authorities many times to relocate this transformer to avoid any untoward incident but nothing has been done so far,” Abdul Ahad, a senior citizen told INS.

The primary health Centre is 200 meters away from the transformer.

Assistant Executive Engineer, M Maqbool Ahanger, Power Development Department, Tral, told INS that they have already received a report regarding the shifting of transformer. “The department has already made a case of the issue and requested people to cooperate with them by visiting their office soon to ensure the quick process,” Ahanger said.
