Shutdown in Shopian continues against ‘disappearance’ of youth

Srinagar: A shutdown is being observed on Saturday in Kishtwar town against the killing of 45-year-old hotelier and proprietor of a shop complex last evening.  Some unknown gunman killed the hotelier Ishtiyaq Ahmad Dar son of Master Ghulam Rasool Dar of Semna Colony (DHP) near Haider Sheikh Gate behind Islamia Faridiya School Kishtwar late Friday evening. Police has already constituted a special investigation team to probe the murder. The locals said that shutdown and peaceful protest in the area is being observed in demand for identifying and punishing those behind the murder.
