Ganderbal: District Employment & counseling centre Ganderbal today organised one day mega job fair (Aein-e-Rozgar) at Mini Secretariat ground Ganderbal which was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner Ganderbal Dr Piyush Singla.
The department of Animal Husbandary, sheep Husbandary, fishiries, Industries, Agriculture, Horticulture, Floriculture, ITI, sericulture, JKEDI, Employment and counseling centre Ganderbal, had established their stalls to aware the unemployed educated youth about various state and central sponsored schemes.
The District Development Commissioner Ganderbal Dr piyush singla who was the Chief Guest on the occasion inspected all the stalls established by the line departments and various companies.
He also said that the aim of organizing such job fair is to educate and aware the unemployed educated youth about various welfares and job oriented schemes of the Government.He said that unemployment is a big challenge for the government as well as for parents. Government is not in a position to provided Government job to every educated youth and they should come in the private sector for establishment of income generating units for which government is providing financial assistance and interest subsidy.
A large number of unemployed youth were registered by UDDAN, HIMIYAT, UMEED and other departments.
