Forces lay siege on Mawer in Kupwara

Srinagar: Cordon and Search Operation is underway at Mawer Area of kargama of north Kashmir’s Kupwara distirct.

Government Forces including 30 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, and Special Operation Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police Qalamabad cordoned off the area after inputs about the militant movement.

“Door-to-door search operations are in progress,” sources said.
