Srinagar: Government forces Monday launched anti militancy operation in Satoora village, Tral in south Kashmir.

The operation is jointly being conducted by Special Operation Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police, 180 Central Reserve Police Force and 42 battalions of Rashtriya Rifles.

The cordon and search operation was launched, officials said, after information about presence of militants in the area.
