Baramulla: A Residential house has been damaged in a cross loss exchange of gunfire at Line of Control in Tilwari Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.

The house belongs to Lasa Najar, s/o Subhan Naja of Tilawari Uri.

While there is no report of any casualty after Pakistan violated ceasefire at Line of Control Thursday morning.  Officials however added that firing from both sides has been stopped while rescue operation to shift people towards safer places is going on.

Ceasefire violation by Pakistan troops occurred at Silikot, Churunda and Rustum areas of Uri sectors, police said.

Earlier on Monday at least four civilians were injured when Pakistani troops resorted to “heavy mortor shelling” in Churunda Silikote area of Hajipeer sector of Uri.
