SMHS attack: 10 persons arrested in south Kashmir’s Pulwama

Srinagar: Special Operation Group (SOG) of police from Srinagar have arrested at least ten persons in connection with SMHS shootout in which two policemen were killed and a top militant commander Naveed Jhutt escaped, sources said on Thursday.
Sources said the arrested persons were allegedly the over ground workers (OGWs).
Seven of the ten arrested persons have been identified as Shakeel Bhat of Lelhar, Tika Khan of Singo Narbal, Jan Mohammed Ganie of Krisigam, Javid Rather, his brother Manzoor Rather of Bebgambagh, Shakeel Wani of Singoo Narbal and Syed Tajamul of Pahoo.
SSP Pulwama Mohd Aslam Choudary confirmed that the persons were arrested by the police team from Srinagar. However, he denied divulging the further details with regard to the case.
