Man found hanging from tree in Kupwara

Kupwara: A man’s body has been found hanging from a tree in this north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Asif Ahmad Peer son of Abdul Ahad peer, a resident of Halmatpora Kupwara.
The body was found hanging from a walnut tree in Arambagh Halmatpora Kupwara, a police official said.
Asif was lone son of his parents. One of the four sisters of the deceased was allegedly killed by her in-laws on January 14.
Asif body was taken to District hospital Kupwara for post-mortem while Police has registered a case and started investigation. The deceased had reportedly issued notice in a newspaper about threat to his life.
