Missing Sopore goldsmith’s body found after 34 days

Sopore: Body of a goldsmith, who according to police was murdered a month ago, was recovered on Tuesday evening.
The goldsmith Tariq Ahmed Malik, a resident of Kalaroos area of Kupwara district, was missing since December 26. According to police, the goldsmith was kidnapped and murdered. Later his body was thrown into the river. The body was finally traced from river Jhelum at Tulibal area of Sopore after 34 days.
Malik was running a jewellery shop in Apple town Sopore before going missing. Sopore police earlier this month arrested four accused person who kidnapped and murdered him.
Meanwhile trade body Sopore has appealed chota Bazaar shopkeepers to register shutdown tomorrow to mourn the murder of Goldsmith.
