Srinagar: The joint resistance leadership (JRL) has called for peaceful protests after Friday prayers tomorrow against the killings and “oppression”.
In a statement, JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik also appealed to mosque clerics to raise voice against the ongoing “barbarism” in their Friday sermons.
The leadership condemned the killing of a youth Shakir Ahmad Mir and injuring of scores others and said forces are carrying out “genocide” of Kashmiri youth under a well-planned conspiracy.
