Govt forms PMG to remove ‘impediments’ in SPS Museum Project

Srinagar: The State government has constituted a Project Management Group (PMG) headed by Administrative Secretary, Department of Culture, to remove the “impediments and address the issues” in the way of implementation of SPS Museum Project.
The 7-member PMG has been tasked to finalize the weekly bench marks of performance by the Police Housing Corporation, Matrika Design Collaboration, Mumbai and Consultant, SPS Museum besides review the actual work done on a fortnightly basis.
The group has also been asked to concertize the detailed project report(DPR) along with the revised costs, “consequent to which the Department of Culture shall submit a note to the Cabinet for consideration.”
The PMG has been also tasked to examine the deviations or variations in costs wherever noted and make appropriate recommendations to the competent authority.
