Boy injured as shell goes off near encounter site in Shopian

Shopian: A 10-year-old boy was injured when an unexploded shell went off near encounter site at Audoo Chaigund village of this south Kashmir district. Two militants were killed in the encounter with government forces on Wednesday afternoon.
Reports said people were clearing debris of cowshed which was gutted amid gunfight in the area. In the meantime unexploded shell went off, resulting in injuries to a boy identified as Mushraff Ahmad.
He was shifted to district hospital Pulwama doctors referred him to SKIMS Srinagar for specialized treatment.
