Wrong information: Dy Speaker orders enquiry

Jammu: Deputy Speaker Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi on Monday asked the government to conduct enquiry into the purported wrong information provided in reply to different Cut Motions to the Members.
The Deputy Speaker issued these instructions after MLA Pahalgam raised the issue during the discussion on Demand for Grants of the Public Works Department.
He said the R&B Department has quoted different figures on the same issue in response to cut motions raised by legislators Mubarak Gul and Abdul Majid Bhat Larmi.
The legislators demanded action against the officials responsible for providing wrong figures.
