Srinagar: The state government on Monday revised calendar of the Budget session by declaring January 27 as ‘off day’.
The calendar was revised after member legislative assembly Mohammad Yousuf Bhat (PDP) requested the chair that January 27 should be observed as Off Day as the Members belonging to far-flung areas would not be in a position to participate in the proceedings of the House after celebrating R-Day in their respective areas and the Deputy Speaker acceded the request of the Members.
