Bhaderwah: IG CRPF Jammu A.V. Chauhan has been airlifted to Jammu for specialised treatment after suffering a mild heart attack on Wednesday night here. He was on official tour along with his family.
Chauhan was at Teligarh hotel of Bhaderwah Development Authority when he suffered the cardiac arrest. He was immediately rushed to sub-district hospital Bhaderwah.
“For the whole night, we keep him under observation in Bhaderwah hospital and in the morning shifted him to Jammu for specialised treatment,” said Block Medical Officer Dr Yudvir Kotwal told INS.
