Christmas celebrated across Kashmir, prayers held for peace

Srinagar: Christmas was celebrated with religious fervor across valley on Monday with churches decked with devotees having erected Christmas trees. Special prayers were held for peace in the world.
The biggest Mass in the Valley was held at the Holy Family Catholic Church at Maulana Azad Road, where hundreds of Christians assembled and held special prayers.
Prayers were held at Saint Luke’s Church and All Saints’ Church in Srinagar City.
Donning the traditional red attire, Santa Claus engaged the kids by distributing candies and toys among them.
