Srinagar: Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Syedah Asiya Andrabi was released from central jail Srinagar, sources said on Monday.

They said that her personal secretary, Fahmeeda Sofi was also released.

Both Asiya and Fahmeeda were arrested on April 26, 2017 and were lodged in Amphala jail, Jammu under Public Safety Act (PSA).

They were later shifted to Srinagar where court quashed their PSA however they were not released.
