Two arrested for fraud in South Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 21: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two people allegedly involved in a number of fraud cases in South Kashmir district of Pulwama, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
The spokesman said on November 29,2017 police station, Pulwama, received a complaint from one Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat son of Habib-ul-lah Bhat resident of Pinglena that he is running an electronics shop at Pinglena.
The complaint further said that on November 25, two unknown persons purchased two LED TV’s, two inverters with two batteries valuing Rs one lac.
However, they gave a cheque, which later proved fake.
He said on this information a case FIR number 410/17 under section 420, 467 RPC was registered and investigation was taken up.
