Shopian: Bodies of two militants have been recovered from the debris of the encounter site in Bhatmaran village of Shopian on tuesday.

According to sources the killed militants have been identified as Tanveer Ah Bhat R/O Bhatmaran and a Pakistani militant.

“District Commander of Jaish Tanveer Ahmed Bhat alias Nauman Along with another Jaish militant from Pakistan were killed in Batmurun Shopian,” police officials said.

Police sources said that they have recovered two AK 56 rifles as well, however, added that search for third militant is in progress.
