“They way Indian forces mercilessly killed the innocent lady in Yunsoo, Handwara during a gunfight vindicates the real motive of cruel Indian forces towards Kashmiri nation,” the statement issued to press quoted JeI spokesman Zahid Ali.

Ali claimed that whenever Kashmiris raises voice against ‘the state terrorism’, they are ‘welcomed by bullets, pellets, PAVA shells, tear smoke shells etc’.

Due to this state terrorism against unarmed and peaceful protestors, the statement reads, thousands of innocent civilians have got killed.

“Saddest part of the situation is that human rights bodies and world forums have kept deep mum over this genocide due to which these institutions have lost its credibility among masses,” Ali said.

According to statemtn JeI condemned the ‘barbaric killing of Misra Banoo’ and ‘expresses its complete solidarity with her family.’

“Jama’at impresses upon the world forums to take concrete measures for ensuring the long pending right of Kashmiris ‘right to self-determination’ and use its influence to end this unabated bloodshed in Kashmir,” Ali was quoted of having said.
