Kanwals bereaved; cousin dies of heart attack

Srinagar: Mohammad Altaf Chadinoo, a revenue official, died of a cardiac attack at his Anantnag residence on Tuesday. He was around 48 and was serving the revenue department and was locally posted.

Altaf was the cousin of Farooq Amin of the Kanwal group.

Farooq said his cousin, son of late Mohammad Sidiq Chadinoo is survived by wife and two sons. “While one son is still studying, the other one has started his career very recently,” Farooq said.

Altaf was laid to rest at 12 noon and the morning will be for three days, family sources said.

Meanwhile according to family, the chahrum of the deceased will be observed on Friday.
